Alan Diaz, managing partner of Edscope Limited, was the head of business development, M&A and partnerships for Laureate Education which grew from scratch (Alan was Laureate's second employee) to 1m students in 29 countries. He led landmark deals in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Edscope advises Private Equity funds and Strategic Investors on cross border M&A opportunities in higher education.
