Alessia became editor in January last year, covering M&A activity and market trends across the education sector. She previously worked for several financial publications, including Mergermarket, Unquote and Global Corporate Venturing, reporting on M&A, private equity, venture capital, buyouts, and growth deals globally. Alessia began her career as a freelance reporter for the Associated Press in Italy and previously graduated magna cum laude from the University of Bologna and completed a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Rome.
