Benoit works with start-ups that leverage technology to help people learn, create and participate in the knowledge economy. Brighteye Ventures is an ed tech-focused venture capital fund based in Europe, investing in early stage companies in Europe, Israel and the US. Ben previously started and ran the Knight Enterprise Fund, a US seed stage venture fund as part of the $2.5 billion Knight Foundation focused on ed tech, media and govtech companies, investing in more than 40 start-ups including Nearpod, Newsela and Tapad (acquired by Telnor). Prior to that, Ben was a partner with US Global, where he developed and invested in start-ups in energy, manufacturing and tech. Ben has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University, an MBA from INSEAD and he is a Kauffman Fellow.
