Empowering education: Uniting investors and operators

Iain leads and oversees Bright Horizon’s divisional and regional operations teams. He also works closely with specialist support functions to support children, families, clients and staff. Iain has extensive experience in education, most recently as director of education for a group of international early years, primary and secondary schools in the United Arab Emirates. He has been a school leader and principal in Jordan, Bahrain, Libya, Thailand and Abu Dhabi, and led a project for the British Council to establish bilingual, bicultural nurseries in multiple cities across Europe. Iain is the founder, trustee, and now a board member of an academy trust in Cheshire, having established the first free school in Chester. He is also a trained Ofsted inspector and has inspected schools across Dubai.
