Empowering education: Uniting investors and operators

Patrick Hayes is responsible for THE Student, the student-facing division of Times Higher Education which engages over 15 million prospective international students on its website each year. THE Student also runs THE Student Pulse, a community panel of over 100,000 prospective international students from around the globe, who are regularly surveyed about their study abroad plans.

He was formerly director of the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the industry body representing 400+ companies with a combined revenue of £2.4bn; and a director of EdTech Exchange, the largest network of EdTech founders in Europe. Earlier in his career, he was business development director at TES Global, the largest network of teachers in the world.
